About
As your therapist, I am here to listen and help you process what is going on in your life and help you figure out what your options are. I will be there for you to work on your goals with you at your own pace. I believe that every one of my clients is capable of growth and it is my job to facilitate this process of building greater awareness toward becoming the person we were meant to be. I help you evaluate your unique situation so you have a better understanding of how you relate to others and give you better insight into who you are. I have a broad life experience that helps me relate to a diverse clientele. I am a licensed professional counselor and psychotherapist with 20+ years of professional experience in the areas of higher education, mental health, and wellness. "I have found that listening to you is the most important thing, so I practice Rogerian techniques and motivational interviewing. I also find that people who experience a lot of anxiety and depression need to look at what is going on in their mind, so I will help apply cognitive behavioral therapy to your thoughts. Lastly, I encourage lots of self care, meditation, and journaling."
