Curtis Piper
LPC Candidate
·MA, LPC-CAbout
Life can feel overwhelming at times. Maybe you're stuck in patterns that once served you but now feel limiting, or you're facing challenges that demand something different from you. Taking that first step toward change takes real courage—and you don't have to take it alone. My aim is to walk alongside you as we discover new possibilities together, creating a space where you can explore what's next with someone who understands the complexity of being human. I provide therapy from a relational perspective that balances depth work with practical results. My approach is grounded in self-psychology, focusing on helping clients engage meaningfully in what matters most: relationships, work, and play. In our work together, you'll find a collaborative space where your unique experiences are understood and valued. I believe meaningful change happens through authentic connection and am committed to supporting you on your journey toward greater fulfillment in all areas of life. Specialties: Nothing in life happens in isolation; everything is connected. So while I tend to focus on sexual abuse, trauma, and spirituality, I am acutely aware of and trained to engage other issues that are never too far under the surface. Credentials & Experience: Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the manufacturing industry for 11 years and in municipal economic development for 3 years. So while I have received formal training in counseling, I also have lived "real life" outside the academic world. I have always been drawn to hope and healing.
"My approach to the therapy is wholistic and rooted in relationship. I focus on helping clients engage meaningfully in what matters most: relationships, work, and play. In our work together, you'll find a collaborative space where your unique experiences are understood and valued. I believe meaningful change happens through authentic connection and am committed to supporting you on your journey."
