About
Therapy can be a place where insight leads to real change, not just endless talking about problems. When life feels uncertain or overwhelming, it can be hard to know where to turn. You deserve a space where you don’t have to carry everything on your own. On days when anxiety, worry, stress, or anger take over, it may feel like you're just trying to make it through. Therapy can help you find healthier ways to cope and regain balance. Together, we’ll create a supportive, judgment-free space where you can speak openly and feel truly understood. We’ll explore what may be keeping you stuck and identify the changes you want in your life. You’ll develop practical coping skills to manage stress, difficult emotions, and life’s challenges with greater confidence and balance. I’m Peggy Blaylock, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience helping people with anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, and relationship challenges. If you're considering therapy but aren’t sure where to start, you can schedule a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit. We’ll take the first step together Specialties: Therapy isn't always easy, but it can lead to meaningful change. When it fits, a little humor can help lighten the process. I've helped adults navigate anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, grief, relationship struggles, and life transitions. Together we'll explore what's weighing on you, build healthier ways to cope, and move toward greater clarity and balance. Credentials & Experience: I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) experienced in working with adults, including extensive experience with trauma and addiction. I bring a calm, practical, and compassionate approach to therapy.
"My approach honors the complexity of your story. Relational and Narrative Therapy guide much of my work, along with Cognitive Behavioral, Strengths-Based, and Person-Centered approaches. Sessions are collaborative and supportive. The people I've worked with and the stories they've shared continue to shape how I approach this work."
