About
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I specialize in working with teens and young adults who are navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, and burnout. I help my clients gain control of their emotions, develop healthy coping and communication skills, and increase positive feelings and thought patterns. My approach is strengths based, client led, and trauma informed. I believe that my clients already possess resilience and capacity for change; sometimes they simply need new skills and a safe space to explore and discover their best self in order to experience a joyful, fulfilling life. When necessary, I incorporate art, sand tray, music, and other forms of creative expression to help clients express parts of their inner world that may be difficult to put into words. I also support parents, coaches, and teachers by teaching them evidenced based strategies to increase connection and cooperation at school, on the field, and at home. I have training in Child Centered Play Therapy, Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I graduated from the Catholic University of America in 2022 with a Masters in Social Work, I coached youth soccer in Northern VA for 5 years, and played college soccer at the Catholic University of America for 4 years. Specialties: I work with adults, teens, and college students navigating anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, and high-pressure environments. As a former collegiate athlete, I bring a unique understanding of performance anxiety, burnout, and identity stress—whether in sports, academics, or career. I help clients build emotional resilience, confidence, and balance during times of change. Credentials & Experience: Licensed Clinical Social Worker in DC and VA with 12 years of experience. Trained in trauma-informed care, DBT, CBT, and Play Therapy, specializing in anxiety, trauma, burnout, and life transitions for adults, teens, and college students.
