Chavona Boyce-Wilson
Resident in Counseling
·MAAbout
I welcome you to a space where you can feel truly seen and supported. I work with teens, adults, and offer individual, family, and couples counseling. As a pre-licensed counseling professional, I’m here to walk with you through life’s challenges. I help clients manage anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions with compassion and evidence-based care, creating a space where healing is possible. With my clinical training, I also specialize in grief and loss, offering individualized support through bereavement. I help clients navigate life transitions and complex emotions in a safe, supportive environment that encourages resilience, insight, and personal growth. I hope to create a space where you feel truly understood and supported. Together, we can focus on what matters most to you, uncover your strengths, and take gentle steps toward a life that feels more balanced, confident, and meaningful. Specialties: With a focus on addressing anxiety, life transitions & healthy coping strategies, clients are empowered to utilize what is learned in sessions to assist them with living a more balanced life. With healthy strategies applied in and outside of sessions, many clients have reported relief from symptoms within the first month of therapy. Credentials & Experience: I am a counseling resident with a background in quality assurance. My work is grounded in ethical, evidence-based, and client-centered care. I use ongoing reflection, supervision, and outcome evaluation to support quality practice, accountability, and effective client care.
"Generally, my approach to therapy is eclectic, including more intensive focus with tenets of Cognitive Behavioral, Person-Centered, Somatic & Strength-Based approaches. The first session includes exploration of why you began your therapeutic journey. Other sessions include challenging unhealthy thought processing, healthy emotional regulation & empowerment for healthy decision making."
