About

Greetings! My name is Alex. At Providence Wellness, I support people of all ages who struggle with trauma, the education system, parenting, and day to day life in today’s complex society. My therapeutic approach is trauma informed, culturally aware, structured to empower clients, and shift their self-awareness. My work as a clinician supports a broad spectrum of clients; I work from a multicultural perspective, and am comfortable supporting clients of all backgrounds, genders, and sexual orientations. As a younger adult, I lived in Guatemala, traveled in Central America and Mexico, and I speak fluent Spanish. Humor and creativity are important in my practice; life is short and extremely complicated, why make therapy painful? I want you to manage your own wellness. I want to help you survive today, work through tomorrow, and thrive in your own way. Please reach out if this sounds like support you can use. Specialties: I primarily work in the areas of trauma and "re-storying" the experiences that have impacted us. Credentials & Experience: In addition to the LICSW, I have a Masters in Teaching, a Certificate of Graduate Studies in Trauma Informed Care, and a Certificate in Narrative Therapy. Along side my academic background, I use my unique learning style, and varied life experience to support clients' diverse needs.
