Life transitions can shake the ground beneath us. You may be moving through a divorce, adjusting to a new community, navigating parenthood or finding stability after a substance use crisis. You don’t have to do it alone. At The Mountain Center, we get that healing isn’t always tidy. Our multigenerational team of clinicians offers both traditional and nature-based approaches to support your vision for yourself. Many of us have deep roots in New Mexico and understand the mix of cultures, landscapes, and histories that shape life in our state. We provide a brave space to support your process of stabilization and recovery. Our therapists are trained in a range of modalities including Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies, EMDR, Somatic Therapy, Sand Tray, Art Therapy, and Music Therapy. We offer sessions in person at our offices or statewide via telehealth. We invite you to schedule a free 10 - 20 minute phone or in-person consultation to meet with us and see if our approach feels like the right fit for you. Specialties: The specialities that we offer include: EMDR, Somatic Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, Sand Tray, and walk and talk therapy. We work with individuals, couples and families. We do not shy away from difficult cases. The Mountain Center has many services for LGBTQ populations and we welcome the queer community into our space. Credentials & Experience: We are a group practice. We have LPCCs, a LPAT, LMHCs, a LCSW, and LMSW on staff. We all participate in interdisciplinary supervision as a team.
