About
As a member of the LGBTQ+ community in today's world, you’re constantly wondering whether you are in a safe place to be your authentic self. Perhaps you've been hurt by your parents, the Church, and people who were supposed to love you unconditionally, simply because of your sexuality or pronouns. You don’t want to lose these relationships, but you also know that something needs to change. Whether you're exploring your sexuality or gender identity for the first time, or came out a long time ago but are struggling due to unsupportive family, friends, or your own self-doubts, there IS a path forward to live freely and happily. Clients come to me looking for a therapist who can help them heal their relationships with their families, set boundaries to protect themselves, and/or explore their relationship with God and Christianity. I am a fully affirming therapist whose goal is to help you explore and accept who you truly are, advocating and walking alongside you the entire way. The right therapist for you will provide the perfect blend of clinical expertise with the feeling of a nonjudgmental, safe friend. When you work with me, sometimes there will be tears, but there will also be laughter, and you’ll leave feeling lighter than when you came in. E-mail me to set up a free 15 minute consultation to see if I'm the right fit for you! Specialties: I specialize in working with clients in the LGBTQ community exploring and accepting their gender identity and sexual orientation.
