About
If I had a magic wand to fix all of the people's problems, we can only suspect that the world would be a better place, but I think it may be a boring place. Think about every person being a cookie cutter of each other, no issues to talk about, nothing wrong in life, it'd be boring. I don't think there is an ideal client, I don't have high expectations of clients other than coming to sessions being honest and willing to put in the effort. I tend to work a lot with depression, anxiety and grief symptoms. When I am working with a client with these symptoms I meet the client where they're at, what they're currently struggling with and we focus on the strengths to pull them up off the ground. If you've gotten this far, you're probably contemplating coming to therapy. Maybe you're contemplating who is best fit for you. Take the leap. I encourage clients that if I'm not the right fit, I'll do my best to help you find someone that you not only connect with but that you feel as though can challenge you to reinforce the changes you want to make. Specialties: I work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD and loss. Loss can mean of a job, a person, a part of their life, it's not just grief of a person. I meet my clients where they're at. We work together to create a treatment plan of what you want to see changed in your life. Credentials & Experience: I am licensed in South Dakota, Florida, Virginia, Iowa and Utah. I was first licensed in 2021 by Florida but have been working in the field since 2014.
"I tend to be holistic in my approach to therapy. Yes the brain is part of the body, but the body's wellbeing has influence on the brain's health as well. I often use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and parts of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy."
