About
I will equip you with the skills you need through a cooperative and collaborative relationship that focuses on the strengths you already have. My approach follows a wellness model, as I believe that most people hold their own answers and solutions to their challenges, but may need a safe space to share their experiences, improve insight and self-awareness, and explore potential solutions. I recognize that everyone has a unique story, and I don’t believe in pushing clients into a mold. Instead, I meet you where you are and serve as a guide to help you discover your own solutions. I am comfortable with silence and recognize that sometimes, profound therapy can occur even when nothing is being said. I believe I have been honored to witness people make significant strides toward mental well-being. My approach includes cognitive, affective, behavioral, and systemic techniques. My areas of specialty encompass depression (including post-partum depression), anxiety, stress, unanticipated life events, grief counseling, interpersonal discord, career issues, life transitions, and personal/social adjustment. Specialties: At Thriveworks, we specialize in helping you navigate anxiety, depression, grief and loss, stress, and life transitions. We are experienced with creating flexible schedules that fit your life, whether you prefer weekly or bi-weekly sessions, in person or online. I will regularly check in to make sure you are satisfied with your progress, and I am always open to feedback so we can adjust your treatment as needed. Credentials & Experience: With over 24 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families, I'm dedicated to helping you lead a happier, more fulfilling life. If you're ready to take the next step, simply call or email Thriveworks, and they'll assist you in scheduling your first appointment with me.
