·LMHCAbout
I am a trauma-informed therapist with eight years of experience supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, life transitions, and complex relational patterns. I have completed basic trauma training and basic EMDR training, and I am currently working toward EMDR certification. My work is rooted in compassion, cultural humility, and a deep respect for each person’s lived experience. I am especially passionate about working with BIPOC clients, children of immigrants, and individuals navigating intergenerational trauma. Our first session is about getting to know you—at your pace. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what feels most important right now, and what you’re hoping will feel different in your life. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to start. We’ll also discuss your goals for therapy and what working together might look like. If trauma is part of your story, we won’t dive into processing it right away. The first session is focused on building safety, trust, and clarity. I want you to feel comfortable and supported before we move into deeper work.
"CBT helps identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that influence emotions and behaviors. In our work together, we'll explore how your thoughts impact how you feel and respond, and develop practical tools to reframe negative thinking, regulate emotions, and create healthier patterns. CBT is goal-oriented and focused on building skills you can use outside of sessions."
