About

Do you find yourself circling in the same patterns day after day, greatly wanting something to change? You know there’s more to life and more within you—maybe you just need a gentle guide to help you find it. Whether you're looking to free yourself from anxiety, relationship issues, grief, life transitions, depression, or addiction, my passion is helping you reach your greatest potential and feel at home in your body. I hold on to hope that as long as there is breath in your body, there is also an opportunity for a new beginning. If you’re ready to lean into your journey towards a new day, I offer a holistic approach that seeks to bring reconciliation- first internally, then with others and the natural world. We’ll work together to find peace within and clarity about the path ahead. Here, you’ll find a safe space to journey toward self-acceptance and grow with grace and confidence. The thought of change often feels overwhelming which can lead to feeling stuck. However, a new day is possible. It starts with interrupting the cycle and taking that initial step toward the life you want. Please contact me to schedule a free, no-commitment consultation. I would be honored to assist you in journeying to your new day. Specialties: I believe that we're able to feel our best when we live fully in our unique talents. Sometimes in coping with our past experiences and relationships, disconnection is created or misalignment happens. I work to build a strong working alliance with you to set the stage for reconciliation to self, others, and our natural world. Credentials & Experience: After 10 years working as a biomedical engineer, I decided to pursue a long-held interest in mental health services. I trained at Duke University's Counseling Center and the Durham VA where I completed a Post-Master's fellowship. I am dually credentialed in social work and substance use.

"We begin by creating a welcoming, safe space as the foundation of our relationship. My approached is informed by evidence backed treatments like Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing and Ecotherapy. I also monitor your progress through routine assessments or tracking of stated goals, any symptoms, and our working partnership."
