About

Life can be immensely stressful, challenging, and overwhelming at times. You may be feeling stuck, uncertain, or burnt out and deeply desire change, but are struggling to make the change you want to experience. You may be grieving a loss or in a transition point in your life, and are unsure of what to do or how to claim your power. You may have experienced discrimination, microaggressions, or systemic or gendered oppression. Perhaps you're a student, in a helping profession, a seasoned professional, a parent, an academic, or a creative person navigating change and looking for growth and finding your own definition of success. I am here to support you in the process of what you're navigating, to hold space for all parts of you with curiosity, warmth, and empathy. I believe that you hold within you the wisdom and capacity for personal agency, healing, and growth. At Just This Counseling, we will work together to help you discover, or rediscover, grounding and presence. It is from this empowered space that you can begin to explore and process past experiences, trauma, and the stories and patterns you have been living from in order to discover healing and move forward with hope. Email is preferred for initial contact. Specialties: I specialize in life transitions, helping you get unstuck, childhood and intergenerational trauma, and facilitating the growth, connection, and engagement in life that you want to experience. My style is open, warm, and empowering, and I bring curiosity and empathy to our work together. I am honored to embark on this healing journey with you. Credentials & Experience: I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Oregon. I hold a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, am a Nationally Certified Counselor, am trained in EMDR, and regularly seek out new training opportunities to increase my learning.

"I work in a warm and relational style, and approach you as the expert on your life and lived experience. I use an integrative approach to healing and growth, acknowledging the impact of systems and focusing our work through a trauma-informed and multicultural lens. Together we will work to explore grounding and presence, and what it means to become the person you want to be in this complex world."
