About
Trust issues, religious/childhood trauma, neurodivergence, anxiety, grief, shame, strained relationships, and career issues are my specialties. If you struggle with any of these, you know how frustrating and confusing it can be. You're worried about getting in touch with your feelings because they feel overwhelming. You want to behave differently, but keep repeating the same patterns. Your coping mechanisms helped you survive in the past, and might even be keeping you safe now, but you want to move from surviving to thriving. Asking for help is hard, but the do-it-yourself "get over it" mentality hasn't been working. Now you’re ready to start your journey of emotional healing. You can reconnect with your nervous system and develop healthier physiological responses to triggering people, places, and events. Along the way, you need to know that you’re in control of this process, rather than being controlled by someone else. I grew up with a story like yours. But as I’ve healed, I’ve learned how to help others heal using frameworks like Internal Family Systems. I’ve spent over half a decade working with religious trauma, emotional connection, relationships, and careers. Let me help you now. Schedule a free, 15-minute consultation today through my website. Specialties: Using IFS, I will help you identify and integrate all parts of your being. For example, if a part of you is angry with your family but another part still loves them, we can work with that. We'll practice honoring all of your feelings and beliefs, no matter how polarizing or different they might be from each other. IFS employs somatic techniques, so the work you do helps your nervous system too. Credentials & Experience: Internal Family Systems - Level 2 training. I use IFS as one of my primary approaches. It's useful for trauma and plenty of other issues.
"I primarily use Internal Family Systems. However, I am happy to tailor my approach for each client individually based on your needs and values. Many of my other therapy types are behavioral in nature, which is especially helpful for issues like eating disorders."
