About
My counseling style is trauma-informed, individualized, and paced to ensure comfort and readiness for each client. I am deeply passionate about helping individuals overcome the distress of their past and ease their anxieties about the future. I believe our childhood experiences play a significant role in shaping who we are, and I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their past and process their trauma. With unconditional positive regard, I gently reframe perspectives shaped by past experiences, fostering healing and growth. My treatment approach is eclectic and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I am familiar with many theories and interventions. I primarily use Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Flash Technique, along with others. I believe that everyone has the innate capacity to heal when given the opportunity to process in a safe and supportive space. With a open-minded, strengths-based approach, I guide clients toward their goals in a direct yet compassionate way. This allows space for exploration, emotional processing, and the development of a trusted therapeutic relationship. Specialties: I welcome and support individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life. My practice specializes in working with those navigating OCD, mood disorders, trauma and PTSD, low self-esteem, anxiety, ADHD, Autism, and LBTQIA issues. No matter your story or the challenges you face, my goal is to offer a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your strengths and begin to heal from the past Credentials & Experience: I am EMDR and Flash Technique trained and licensed in Oregon and Washington. I have 6 years experience working with teens and adults.
