About
At my core, I believe that play is an essential part of a human interaction. This is because I wholeheartedly believe that play should not end at a certain age, or when a child is “too old”. From a young age, play is how we learn boundaries and social skills. Play can also be used to process trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and much more. Play therapy can help build trust and attachment with your child, while the both of you learn more helpful behaviors and how to express your emotions. I encourage a child’s caregivers to take an active role in the therapeutic process. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and co-parents, helping individuals heal from trauma and manage anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Using EMDR therapy, I guide clients toward becoming better partners, parents, and versions of themselves, fostering resilience and lasting growth. I became a therapist because I believe we all get stuck in cycles, but we don’t have to repeat the patterns of our past. You can break free from the way you were raised, and your children don’t have to experience the same struggles. Therapy can help every child, adult, parent, or couple find healthier paths forward. Specialties: I use aspects of play therapy, bibliotherapy, cinema therapy, art therapy, and sandtray therapy to inform my practice. Credentials & Experience: I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I specifically enjoy working with kids, teenagers, adults, and co-parents.
