About
Do you have racing thoughts that make it hard to concentrate? Is the past making it hard to focus on the present? I work with teens and adults to overcome anxiety and trauma of all kinds. Anxiety and trauma are common and therapy allows you feel at peace again. I offer online therapy so you can have appointments from wherever you feel most comfortable. All you need is a computer or smartphone, and the desire to feel better. My approach includes scientifically backed therapies - such as CBT, EMDR, ERP, and mindfulness strategies. I focus on techniques that help you feel calm in your body and have a clearer mind. Everyone is different, so we will work together to find the right set of skills that will work for you. Sometimes, we just need to talk and be heard. I am here to offer that non-judgmental ear. Send me an email or give my office a call, and we will get back to you within 1 business day. You've already taken the first step by researching your next therapist, let me support you on the rest of the journey. Specialties: I work with clients who are struggling to feel calm, are feeling stressed and down, and are looking for a way out of this cycle. In our sessions, we will learn tools to help regulate your emotions, dig deeper into where those emotions are coming from, and how to maintain your progress. Credentials & Experience: I have extensive experience in trauma informed care, EMDR, and tele-health. I have also received training in letter writing for emotional support animals and gender affirming medical care.
"I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, somatic approaches, and mindfulness in my practice. This gives us a guide to challenge racing thoughts and calm the body. I utilize EMDR to treat trauma, which has been shown to reduce symptoms with great success. During treatment, I'll help you learn that you are not your thoughts."
