Pre-Licensed Professional
·MA, P-LPCCAbout
I am humbled by and grateful for the opportunity to provide therapeutic support for those brave enough to say, “I need help.” In my counseling office you can expect to be welcomed with deep levels of empathy and genuine care. I'm committed to providing a healing space where clients feel consistently valued, accepted and heard. I'm strengths-based, trauma-informed, and love to provide holistic approaches that support your mind, body, and spirit. I enjoy working with all populations but am often drawn to teens, young adults, new mama's, or those in people helping professions (teachers, therapists, human services, etc). When you start therapy with me you'll get to meet my sweet 8 year old Goldendoodle, Boji. He is the sweetest and brings the magic! He is a certified therapy dog through International Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Admitting you're struggling feels very vulnerable but reaching out for support is brave and courageous! I can't wait to connect with you and hear your unique story! Together we'll find your path to healing and wholeness. Specialties: I enjoy working with a variety of issues, but have a special interest in supporting those with symptoms related to: anxiety, burnout, grief, perfectionism/high achievers, trauma, life changes, peri-post natal, parenting, attachment, ADHD, highly sensitive people/empaths. I will spend time getting to know you through assessments and dialogue and we'll develop a treatment plan collaboratively.
"I am very person-centered so treatment approaches are completely tailored to your unique situation and needs. I commonly draw from therapeutic models and strategies including: CBT, DBT, Somatic, Integrative/Holistic, Internal Family Systems (Parts work), Attachment Theory, Narrative, and Motivational Interviewing. I am strengths based and love to include them in your treatment plan."
