About
You still love each other, but communication feels strained, intimacy feels distant, or you’re stuck in the same painful cycle. Couples often reach out saying they need help communicating. What I typically find is that communication breaks down when emotional safety and closeness have eroded. I work with couples who care deeply about their relationship but feel disconnected, guarded, or caught in repetitive conflict. This may show up as escalating arguments, shutdown or withdrawal, roommate-like distance, sexual disconnection, or difficulty navigating transitions like opening a relationship. My approach is attachment-focused and informed by somatic awareness. Together, we slow down reactive patterns, explore what’s happening beneath the surface, and help you speak honestly in ways that increase understanding rather than defensiveness. As emotional safety grows, communication shifts from reactive/guarded to more open, accountable, and connected. I work best with couples who are still choosing the relationship and want to strengthen it. I also support intentional uncoupling when partners decide to separate and want to do so with care and integrity. Reaching out can feel vulnerable, especially when things already feel tense. I offer a free consultation to connect and see if we're a good fit. Specialties: I work with couples who love each other but feel distant, tense, or unable to reach one another. Together, we slow down the patterns that keep you stuck, uncover the deeper hurts beneath the surface, and create the safety needed for honest, close connection. Credentials & Experience: I hold a Master's degree in Couple and Family Therapy and bring over a decade of experience in somatic and healing arts practices, including bodywork, breathwork, yoga, and meditation. In 2021, I became a Certified Somatic Trauma Therapist through The Embody Lab.
