I am a certified EMDR therapist. Are you holding onto distress or overwhelming emotions tied to past scary or traumatic events? If you answered yes to any of these, EMDR may be right for you. I received my training at NYU's Silver School of Social Work, where I built a strong foundation in psychodynamic theory. Over the last decade I've trained in Internal Family Systems Therapy, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I use techniques from all of these modalities in order to meet each client's needs. As an anti-racist and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist I recognize that everyone’s story is shaped by unique circumstances, identities, and lived experiences. I’m committed to ongoing learning and to creating a space where clients feel safe, supported, and heard. Credentials & Experience: I have over 10 years of therapy experience. I'm certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and have received post grad training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS).
