You’re overwhelmed, unsure, and just dam tired from trying to keep up with it all. On the outside, you might appear capable, responsible, successful even, but inside your mind runs faster than you can keep up with. Your mind just can’t slow down, tasks pile up, and no matter how much effort you put in, it never feels like enough. Many of the people I work with have ADHD and were diagnosed later in life or are just beginning to recognize that ADHD might be the answer to some of their life long questions like why things have always felt harder than they “should.” Growing up, you may have been told you were lazy, unmotivated, or not trying hard enough, even though you cared deeply and pushed yourself constantly. Over time, these messages turn into anxiety, chronic self-doubt, and guilt. You might replay past mistakes, worry about disappointing others, or work to hide your struggles to "seem normal" Therapy is a space to make sense of these experiences without shame. Your anxiety and self-criticism didn’t come out of nowhere and they are not personal failures. Together, we’ll explore how ADHD has shaped the way you think, feel, and relate to yourself, while also focusing on ways to work with your brain rather than constantly fighting it. Specialties: I work with clients facing issues of adhd, anxiety, and trauma. Initial sessions will focus on understanding your history and present issues. As therapy progresses we begging identifying the source of these issues and what skills we can use to better navigate them. Most clients recognize and improvement in symptoms within the first 6 sessions followed by steady improvement over time Credentials & Experience: I am a ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider and have been trained in CBT, psychodynamic and ACT schools of therapy. I am fully licensed in NY, CT and FL and have received additional certifications in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and ADHD treatment.
