About
Hi! I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience helping adults to reduce anxiety, cope with trauma, and navigate life's difficulties. I have extensive experience treating anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, phase of life issues, career stress, relationship concerns, and many other issues which might bring you to therapy. I practice with a commitment to diversity and am LGBTQIA affirming. I know that finding the right match in a therapist is important, and I want you to get the care that is right for you. Many of my clients have a history of trauma or grief and are navigating difficult life circumstances like career stress, parenting, or relationship concerns. They are often high achievers, trying to take on the world, make big decisions, and still have time for themselves. I specialize in helping folks regain a sense of control in their lives. While it's normal to wonder whether talking to a therapist can really make a difference, many people feel a sense of relief from making that first connection and finding out that there really is a path to feeling better. I want to help you feel hopeful again. Call or message me and let's talk about how. Specialties: I specialize in treating adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and stressful changes. I focus in particular on treating busy professional women, trauma survivors, LGBTQIA individuals, athletes, and folks struggling to navigate new stressors in their lives. Credentials & Experience: I have 13 years of experience helping adults with a wide variety of mental health issues and symptoms. I'm licensed in NY and can conduct virtual therapy with patients who live anywhere in NY state. I also have extensive education and training in cultural competence and cultural humility.
