About
Marriages and families are the heartbeat of our communities. When we struggle in relationships to hear one another and be heard, to feel validated we can fail to see the value one another holds. However, when we learn how to listen to understand, learn to see the value of a different perspective, and worth of the person we are doing life with, then we can learn to love that person for who God created them to be. My passion is working with couples to strengthen their communication, connection, and committment to their relationship. When we understand one another that is when we will have empathy for different perspectives. I look forward to building skills with you in your relationship to help you as a couple reach your goals. We will laugh and make the process fun. As a Family Systems therapist, I look both at the small and the big puzzle pieces seeing how they fit (or don’t fit) and helping to bring awareness to the stories you want to create in your own life. I believe that the best therapy is when we can truly connect to move people forward in the healing process. I would love to connect with you to discuss more. Specialties: I work with clients who may be struggling with issues related to relationships, marriage, and family relationships. I also work with clients who have anxiety and OCD tendencies. During our initial sessions, we will dive into deep-rooted issues and seek to create a treatment plan for addressing your issues that works me out of a job. Credentials & Experience: I earned a Bachelor's in Science in Psychology from Liberty University in 2017. I went through a training called Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) to help clients with PTSD in 2020. I earned a certificate in anxiety and OCD-related issues in 2024.
