About
Helping Young Professionals & Parents Navigate Mood Disorders and Emotional Well-Being: If overwhelming emotions, stress, or anxiety are making daily life feel unmanageable, you’re not alone. As a therapist, I help young professionals and parents regain emotional balance, develop effective coping strategies, and build resilience. My structured approach incorporates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Written Exposure Therapy, and Prolonged Exposure Therapy—helping you move forward with confidence. I also offer a specialized Perinatal Mental Health track for individuals navigating the emotional challenges of pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood. Whether you’re experiencing perinatal anxiety, depression, or birth-related trauma, I provide compassionate, evidence-based support tailored to your needs. My career began in the DCYF/child Protective services realm, progress to inpatient substance use, and then psychiatric emergency services. With additional training in perinatal mental health and couples/family therapy, I help individuals and families strengthen their relationships while addressing mood-related challenges. Specialties: My background is inpatient substance use, emergency services, and community mental health. You can expect to meet weekly or biweekly to increase your self-worth, develop healthy coping skills, and communicate more effectively with people in your life. Credentials & Experience: I have training in couple's counseling through the Gottman Institute and in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International.
"I'm here to talk, but also to help you find motivation and make lasting change using tangible and skill-based approaches such as exposure therapies, the Gottman method and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I believe that we are all a part of a larger story and system, which is why I include family systems/relationship therapy when appropriate."
