About
Food takes up more space in your life than you want it to. The day gets organized around trying to be “good,” avoid losing control, fix what happened yesterday, or finally get back on track. Restriction feels hopeful until it becomes exhausting. Emotional eating feels relieving until the shame sets in again. There is overthinking before eating, guilt after eating, and a constant mental negotiation happening in between. I work with individuals ages 18+ who are ready to end the cycle of disordered eating. Experience less anxiety around eating, gain trust in hunger and fullness cues, engage in movement that feels enjoyable instead of punishing, and be more present with the people and experiences that matter to you most. Invest in yourself, not another diet. Specialties: I work with clients 18 and older who are living with disordered eating and poor body image. Treatment is collaborative and focused on gaining insight into patterns and learning skills to cope without the use of food, restriction, excessive exercise, or purging. Credentials & Experience: I have over 7 years of experience as a social worker and 5 years working specifically with individuals with eating disorders. My training was completed in higher level of care settings where I worked with a team of clinicians, case managers, and dietitians.
