About
The people I work with have dedicated a lot of energy toward being successful or filling challenging roles. Even when it's tied to a passion or love, being driven can come with a lot of stress. Over time, stress can leave people feeling like something is “off,” pressurized, or missing. When we experience big life changes or repeating patterns, the sense that something isn’t working can be heightened. We all have the innate ability to adapt, refocus, and reconnect to what's important. You can find new insights and start making changes, even if you're not sure what that looks like yet. Our work together is about more than just retelling a story. A mind-body approach can help you feel more at ease, comfortable, and authentic. This holistic approach to working with stress can help you feel connected and empowered in a more sustained way. I always integrate research-backed frameworks for the most effective work. I’m here to help you get curious and creative; this will help you shift out of stress and feel more open. Eventually, you’ll feel more free being your full self outside of therapy, too. Message me or visit my website to schedule a consult. Specialties: I help people struggling with pain from stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, or even physical conditions (chronic pain, illness, or insomnia). Most of my clients tell me they start to feel better within a few sessions. Learning mind-body relaxation and somatic techniques can promote healing, better coping, and a sense of empowerment. Credentials & Experience: For over 10 years, I've helped people with stress, anxiety, pain, and illness. I use trauma-informed somatic (or mind-body) approaches that can be effective when only talking about a problem doesn't resolve the issue.
"I believe therapy should tend to all parts of your experience. We might work with CBT to address unhelpful thoughts or patterns, mindfulness or yoga techniques to address stress, somatic approaches to increase comfort, or existential or Jungian concepts to address issues related to meaning or spirituality. Nature-based sessions (eco-therapy) are also available."
