About
Hello! I’m so grateful you made the choice to seek counseling. I have over six years of experience walking alongside people who are tired of just “getting by.” If you’re living with anxiety, depression, trauma, and feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from yourself or others, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out alone either. I offer a safe, compassionate space where you can slow down, feel truly heard, and begin to make sense of what you’ve been carrying. Together, we’ll work at your pace to help you regulate emotions, rebuild self-trust, and create meaningful, lasting change. If you’re feeling weighed down by depression, constantly on edge with anxiety, or still carrying the impact of trauma, you don’t have to navigate it by yourself. In our work together, I use evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches that support both your thoughts and your nervous system—not just “talking about it,” but helping your body feel safer. My goal is to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions, gain insight, and build skills to move forward with confidence. Specialties: I work with clients who may be struggling with depression or trauma related to their relationships or family. During our initial sessions, going at a pace you are comfortable with, we will deep dive into the issues at hand, collaborating together to create plans addressing each in a way that helps you get your life where you want it. Credentials & Experience: I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and have over 6 years counseling experience in Missouri. I have also been a part of the social work/counseling world for over30 years in Missouri and North Carolina.
"I most often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy mixed with Mindfulness. In your first session, we'll explore the reasons that have brought you into therapy and then decide the most appropriate methods to help you make the most progress. With the use of CBT, we will look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experiences. I am here to help you navigate your past hurts and heal."
