About
Pursuing Peace is a non-profit that exist to help people find quality mental health treatment available to help clients deal with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, & intimacy related issues. I have worked in social work and ministry as well as tradition therapy, and all these have helped me grow and learn how to better serve my clients. It has been my experience that collaborating with clients to help facilitate healing and growth is empowering and transformative for them. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and peace-filled life and look forward to walking beside you on that journey. I will take a comprehensive approach that looks at physical, mental and spiritual wellness because a limited capacity will result in limited ability to change. We will look at things like diet, exercise, rest, sleep and community. I work a lot with anxiety, depression, time management, thought management, relationship dynamics, family, and couples. If you have any questions about the process or approach, or if you are looking to learn more about scheduling feel free to reach out.
"I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better.""
