About
Everybody deserves to find a place where they feel safe and heard as they process personal struggles. I want to provide that space as you attempt to explore and create new habits that better suit your current needs. By operating from a person-centered view of counseling and utilizing theories that help me to provide you with skills that help you manage your emotions, interactions, and experiences, you will find a chance to create change. I am looking forward to meeting you where you are to make progress on your goals. I utilize Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Emotion-Focused Therapy techniques to help with stress management, interpersonal skill building, and personal exploration. I have experience working with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and general life stressors. I also have experience with military family transitions and military separation experiences. If you find yourself wishing you could manage your emotions more effectively, understand yourself better, or just need someone with whom you can share difficulties, then I look forward to working with you. Specialties: I work primarily with men's issues related to relationships, parenting, life changes, and emotional struggles. I provide skills to assist with emotion regulation and help you better understand the negative patterns you wish to change. We will work together to create a plan that addresses the issues that are most important to you. Credentials & Experience: I am a P-LPC in Mississippi and have been certified as a Nationally Certified Counselor through the NBCC.
