About
With Monarch Counseling & Wellness, I offer therapy to anyone over the age of 15 who may be ready to gain insight into their depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance use issues, grief/loss, or trauma. The ultimate goal is to learn how to live with any of these and to have a productive life. I specialize in Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Reality Therapy. I enjoy using Motivational Interviewing tools to help and aid my clients in taking back control of their life. I am client centered and will adjust therapy to meet your needs as a client. I am also an EMDRIA approved EMDR Therapist. I invite you to take the first step and call to start your healing journey. I believe there is strength in asking to gain insight on how to be the best you and is ready to walk with you during your healing journey. Specialties: I work with clients learning to live with trauma, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and life transitions. I have experience treating individuals recovering from substance use. I am also a LGBTQIA affirming practitioner. Credentials & Experience: I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am also an EMDRIA approved EMDR Therapist, and a Nationally Certified Counselor.
"The first session will be used to identify goals that you want to accomplish. The following sessions will be used to aid you in finding ways to achieve those goals and learning how to use skills in day-to-day life. Through practicing these skills in therapy, you will be able to live with any trauma without trauma living through you."
