About

I have been a therapist for 10+ years serving across various communities in the state of Mississippi. I am very passionate about helping others learn to inspire growth within themselves. I am committed to serving individuals of all ages. I want individuals to learn and understand that everyone at one point or another in their lives needed help and with that help they can be empowered to return to healthy functioning. I also want them to know that by getting the help they need they place themselves in a position to help someone else from their growth. I specialize in encouraging and teaching skills in family support, team building, mental health education and psychometric testing. I have experience in helping individuals work through anxiety, depression, trauma, family/parenting issues, work related stress while building skills in coping, stress and behavioral management and emotional regulation. If you feel that you want or need someone who will offer help and support in a safe, relaxing and non-judgemental envorinment as well as give you a protected place to sort out your thoughts and feelings while empowering you to take control of your life and situation then, please give me a call. Specialties: I work with clients who may be struggling with anxiety, depression or trauma related to their current circumstances, relationships or family. During the first few sessions we will explore history and allowing clients to express how they feel in a way that is comfortable for them to get what they need to express out. Clients have expressed major relief after their first session. Credentials & Experience: I have over 20 years of experience working with youth and families and 14 years of experience in serving/teaching mental health in various communities in the state of Mississippi. I am a true educator at heart. If I give you a meal feed you for one day if I give you knowledge I feed you for life.

"I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better."
