About

When your child’s emotions spill over into big meltdowns, angry outbursts, or long stretches of shutting down, it can feel overwhelming to know what to do. Maybe you’ve seen your child struggle with anxiety at school, act aggressively at home, or seem far away after a difficult experience. You want to understand what’s going on beneath the behavior, and you want your child to have safe ways to manage feelings, reconnect, and heal. I specialize in helping children ages 3 to 12 who face trauma, emotional or behavioral dysregulation, aggression, or dissociation. Through play and creative activities, I guide kids toward calm, confidence, and resilience. I also schedule regular parent sessions to update you on their progress and help you find ways to support their growth outside therapy. Every child deserves a space where big feelings make sense and healing can begin. And every parent deserves respect and support along the way. Email or call me to schedule a free consultation, and we can talk about what’s been happening and how therapy might help your child - and your family! - move forward. Specialties: No matter what brings your child to therapy, I provide a safe, supportive space where they feel understood and grow emotionally. Therapy includes child-led play and activities to help them explore feelings, build confidence, and develop coping skills. Therapy also includes regular parent sessions to give you support, discuss your child's progress, and help you help your child outside therapy. Credentials & Experience: I have supported children and their families through challenges since 2011. Since completing my Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work, I've completed advanced training in play therapy, trauma, and dissociation so that I can help children ages 3-12 manage emotions, heal, and feel more connected.

"I use nondirective play therapy techniques that allow your child to work at their own pace. I have been trained to observe how your child plays, and to respond with supportive and nonjudgemental guidance. Over time, I will identify themes in your child's play and interpret what it means. This allows me to better understand and address your child's emotional state and emotional needs."
