About

Therapy can seem daunting and overwhelming, but I am here to help. My experience is mainly with children, adolescents, and women who face challenges specifically around anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders. We will work together to identify achievable goals (such as improving self-esteem or finding tools to decrease worries), using a variety of techniques such as cognitive-behavior therapy, mindfulness, and strength-based therapy. Regardless of the techniques I’m trained in, I always individualize my approach to meet the needs of everyone I help. We will work together to help you feel more in control of your life. I have experience as a High School ELA teacher, a Crisis Clinician, a School Adjustment Counselor, an Executive Function Coach, and a Behavior Specialist. I am also a registered yoga instructor and a certified social-emotional learning facilitator. I use compassion and validation to make strong connections with toddlers, children, teens, and adults. We will work together to find the best tools and strategies to help you feel more successful. I look forward to meeting you! Specialties: I work with folks who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, or trauma related to relationships or family. Relationship building is incredibly important in order for folks to feel safe showing up as themselves and in order for us to delve into their areas of need. Treatment plans are client-centered and created collaboratively. Credentials & Experience: I have 15 years of experience guiding children, teens, and women through life changes and crises. I hold additional certifications in trauma-informed therapy, yoga, and meditation.

"I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - so, we will look at how your thoughts impact your emotions, experiences, and behaviors. During treatment, we will work together to challenge those thoughts and to find relief from symptoms. However, I always work to meet folks where they are when they show up to therapy each day."
