About
When OCD, anxiety, and depression get in the way of living fully, I help clients reclaim their lives and get unstuck. Clients that work with me are reflective, curious, and intentional about personal growth. Sometimes, clients aren't sure how to name the challenges they're experiencing, and they just have a hunch that life doesn't have to be as hard as it is now. That's okay! You don't need a diagnosis or the perfect description of your symptoms to start counseling. I understand that disorders show up in diverse ways, and I take time to listen to my clients so that treatment can be responsive to their unique needs. I have post-master’s training in effective, evidence-based interventions for OCD and trauma. I also offer pastoral counseling as an optional treatment approach that integrates the strengths of a client's faith, and I have experience working with victims of clergy sexual abuse. If you want to address the challenges that keep you from living authentically and connecting in meaningful ways with others, I’m here to listen. We can explore together whether counseling with my practice would be helpful. I'm also connected with a network of trusted colleagues that I can refer to if needed. Specialties: I support clients who are living with anxiety, trauma, OCD, and related disorders. In the first session, we'll discuss what's bringing you to counseling and your hopes for treatment. Together, we'll decide on a treatment plan and session frequency that's right for you. Credentials & Experience: I received post-master's training in OCD and trauma treatment through the International OCD Foundation, the OCD Training School, and EMDRIA.
"Inference-Base Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) addressing the reasoning process that leads to a cycle of doubt and compulsions. This treatment is a wonderful option if you've tried ERP and still have lingering symptoms or if you'd prefer OCD treatment that doesn't involved exposures."
