About
You’re sharp, capable, and used to carrying a lot. You think your way through most things but feel disconnected, exhausted, or stuck in patterns you can’t logic your way out of. On the outside you function well; inside you may feel invisible, overwhelmed, or responsible for everything. Our work combines thoughtful conversation with real-time tools that help you understand your patterns, process stress and old wounds, expand your emotional range, and build relationships and a life that don’t depend on you holding it all alone. I specialize in working with men, lawyers, high-achievers, and fellow therapists navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, ADHD/Autism, and burnout. Using art therapy and IFS, we make emotions visible, understand what makes you tick, and build practical ways forward with compassion and honesty. You probably don’t have the time or energy to sift through dozens of therapists or wait for a reply. I keep 25+ office hours a week but only work with 12–14 clients at a time, so I can be flexible with your schedule and get you in quickly. If you’re reaching out, you’re likely ready to get started. Look for my reply within 24 hours. Specialties: The clients that thrive in their work with me are high-achieving adults who are both outwardly successful and internally struggling. This can show up in a variety of ways including anxiety, panic, people-pleasing, perfectionism, burnout, overwhelm, boundary issues, and neglect of personal needs. Credentials & Experience: I'm licensed in Maryland, DC, and Missouri as an art therapist and counselor. I am Level 1 IFS trained and remain committed to expanding my skills, focusing on trauma, neurodiversity, anxiety, and grief. I'm also an approved supervisor for new art therapists (LGPATs) in MD.
