About
I help teens and adults who are struggling with a variety of issues whether they're at home, school, or work. I'll help you look at patterns of behavior, your upbringing, environment and current interactions so we can determine the next steps for you to take toward your goals. I understand the challenges of parenting, divorce, struggling with anxiety, grieving the loss of a loved one, dealing with sexual issues, and school and work stressors. I help individuals, couples, and families work toward their personal goals. Although it can be difficult to ask for help the rewards are tremendous. We'll begin a partnership to help you find the happiness you deserve. Credentials & Experience: I help older teens, adults, couples and families with a variety of issues including communication, relationships, anxiety, divorce, sexual, work and school challenges. I'm a Certified Sex Therapist. I've worked as an on-site workplace counselor and am licensed in DC, MD, and VA.
"I use a combination of problem solving, family systems, and cognitive behavior therapy. We'll start with looking at what you want from therapy, then look at how some of your patterns of behavior and/or relationships may be perpetuating your issue. Finally we work on how to reframe any destructive thought patterns and/or change your role in relationship dynamics."
