About

No matter who and where we are in our lives, it seems we all "have our stuff." And that's exactly what has drawn me to my life work. Whether sitting with a couple in my office or a group onsite, I offer hope where you may feel there is none, as well as the simple grace and permission to be human. Clients, colleagues, and friends have often expressed that my calming and authentic yet professional communication style naturally provides the necessary tools to build trusting and work-ready relationships. I hold a great deal of respect for my clients and am honored to be a catalyst in promoting their growth and self-empowerment. Having had the privilege of working with couples, individuals, and groups within a variety of settings, I am committed to providing compassionate assistance in the areas of counseling, coaching, and consulting. As a CEAP and CIR-C, I have extensive experience in onsite grief and crisis response and am ready to respond when an event occurs. Experience as a counselor, coach, and EAP consultant gives me the unique perspective of clinically listening to what got you here as well as offering strategic help to move you forward, whether at home, within the workplace, or a combination of both. I offer encouragement and motivation to simply and consistently do the next right thing. Let's get started! Specialties: My practice consists of couples counseling in my office or through telehealth as well as on-site employee assistance work. I have and continue to pursue additional certifications and trainings in both of these specialties. Credentials & Experience: In addition to numerous advanced trainings in couples counseling, within the world of employee assistance program (EAP) consulting I hold certifications as a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP), as well as being specifically certified as a Critical Incidence Response Specialist.

"Within our work together, initial approaches may include aspects of narrative and trauma-focused therapy (what brought you here) and then we typically expand into other therapy modalities including existential, solution-focused, and positive psychology approaches (getting you where you want to be). Along with healthy doses of compassion, empathy, and hope throughout!"
