About
Do you ever feel like you’re missing the manual for life, like you were absent the day in school when they handed out maps? I get it. Life and relationships can be challenging, and if you’re needing some help navigating the complexities of life, you are not alone! Sometimes a listening ear, someone to truly hear you and your story, can make all the difference. Other times, having a trusted person to problem solve with you and to help you come up with workable solutions can be just the ticket. I specialize in working with couples and families navigating conflict, finances, rebuilding trust and intimacy, and more. I also work with individuals on a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger, and more. I work from a systemic perspective, taking into consideration all aspects of your life to help you find workable solutions. I recognize that our lives don't always fit neatly into categories, and that your story is unique to you. I also know it can be difficult to reach out for help. I'll take the time to listen and hear what's most important for you to gain from counseling. Reach out for a consultation and we can talk about how counseling can help you get where you want to be. Specialties: I work with couples to find healing in conflict, solutions for communication issues, or other relational rifts, and with individuals who may be struggling with anxiety or depression, life transitions, coping skills, and more. I will take the time to listen deeply to what's bothering you most. We will develop a treatment plan together that can help you find relief from your symptoms. Credentials & Experience: I am a provisionally licensed professional counselor with experience working with couples, individuals, and families. I hold a certification in Telecounseling and Telemental Health, and have extensive experience working with clients in a virtual setting.
"I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with individuals and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) with couples. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress."
