About
Pregnancy and early motherhood are often expected to be blissful, but the reality can be terrifying, lonely, or overwhelming. You might be experiencing intrusive thoughts or a sense of loss for your pre-baby life. Or maybe you envisioned building your family differently, and this journey has likely brought a unique kind of grief and anxiety that others in your life simply don't understand. Whether you are navigating IVF, exploring alternative paths to parenthood, or managing grief related to your fertility journey, you don't have walk this journey alone. I work with individuals who are navigating a major life transition, like the early months of parenthood, the end of a relationship, trying to conceive, or a shift in identity or purpose. I have lived experience with infertility, pregnancy, and postpartum. My approach is rooted in compassionate and evidence-based care, focused on meeting you where you are. Therapy with me is warm, honest, and practical. I’m not the kind of therapist who simply nods while you vent. I’ll help you slow down enough to understand what’s actually happening beneath the anxiety, self-criticism, overwhelm, or emotional numbness. Together, we will build upon the strengths you already possess and find what tools work best for you. Specialties: I work with people finding themselves in the thick of change—infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood—when life feels meaningful but also overwhelming or unfamiliar. I also support anxiety, depression, identity shifts, and relationship changes. I have a special place in my work for teens and new fathers, who are often carrying more than they let on. Credentials & Experience: I have experience helping clients at all stages across the lifespan and graduated from Avila University with my Masters in Counseling Psychology.
"I use a variety of treatment modalities, but start with a person-centered approach to get a better idea of your goals, what issues you are facing, and what treatment type will be the best fit for you."
