About

Let’s cut to the chase–it’s stressful to feel like you aren’t where you want to be, and even more so when you don’t know what steps to take to get unstuck. You’ve tried the breathing exercises and the self-care days, but you need more. That is where I come in. I work with adult women, in their 20’s and 30’s, who are feeling like they just floating/surviving through life. Clients come to me when they are feeling disconnected from themselves, from others, or from life itself. I take a more holistic approach in my counseling, pulling from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help my clients build the skills they need to feel regulated, IFS/Parts work and EMDR to help my clients process through past traumas, and Ecotherapy and Somatic Experiencing to help my clients connect with their environment and their nervous system. My approach is collaborative because I want to work with you, not for you. You know yourself better than anyone else, therefore, your voice holds precious space in my office. I also want you to know that your human-ness is welcome here. I am accepting to all identities and backgrounds and encourage humor, cussing, and all of your quirks. Specialties: I work with clients who are struggling with past traumas, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, and life changes. My main goal is to personalize the therapeutic experience for each client so that they feel heard and supported when gaining new skills to help cope with past, current, and future issues. Credentials & Experience: I am licensed in the states of Kansas and Missouri, and am experienced in helping adults and teenagers navigate anxiety, depression, and trauma. Additionally, I am trained in EMDR and IFS, both of which are some of the leading treatments for PTSD, anxiety, depression, OCD, and many other disorders.

"I often use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) when helping clients build their coping skills. When processing, I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help client create a more adaptive neural network, and I have found IFS/parts work to be a helpful tool for clients to build insight and compassion towards the self."
