About
I work with thoughtful adults who are curious about themselves and open to profound reflection. Our work together doesn't evade quick fixes, but it also doesn't assume simplicity. Rather, my patients often seek a more longitudinal psychotherapy that explores the deeper patterns shaping their lives, with the aim of empowering them to live with expanded awareness, and greater clarity, that inspires both agency and authenticity. My work can be described as highly individualized psychotherapy for people seeking to explore their emotional and behavioral patterns, relationships, and experiences that inform their reality. My approach integrates psychodynamic insight, existential reflection, and mindful awareness to elicit and support enduring clarity, growth, and the freedom. If you’re looking for a uniquely focused space to explore your life and problems more deeply, I welcome the opportunity to connect. An initial conversation allows us mutually explore how engaging in this work together might be a good fit. I am most interested in making sure our time together is likely to be beneficial. Specialties: Many of my clients come after finding that previous therapy did not fully address the deeper issues they were facing. I often work with adults navigating issues related to high intelligence, existential depression and anxiety, religious deconstruction/spiritual concerns, and questions of identity or meaning, helping them understand underlying patterns and live with greater clarity and freedom. Credentials & Experience: I have been in practice in therapeutic roles since 2009. As a psychotherapist, registered nurse, and clinical chaplain, I hold a variety of certifications in psychiatry, holistic healthcare, and contemplative practice. I am currently licensed in KS and MO.
"I practice a psychodynamic, relational, and existential therapy, informed by mindfulness and contemplative wisdom. My practice tends to broadly explore emotional and behavioral patterns, relationships, and life experiences with curiosity, and care, so as to midwife the awareness that precedes and empowers true agency, and therefore the capacity for meaningful change."
