About
I am a family focused clinician. This means I love working with couples, teenagers, and anyone experiencing difficulty in their family of origin. Pairing my clinical training with my lived experience of growing up around caregivers and relatives with mental health issues, this makes me an effective therapist for those needing guidance through complicated and nuanced family situations. I want to help you make sense of your own story, and discern healthier boundaries for you and yours going forward. If you have felt chronically misunderstood, taken advantage of, made to be a scapegoat in family conflict — me too. I can help. I'll bring clarity to family dynamics that are difficult to articulate. We can work together to identify the blind spots that keep tripping you up. I have a unique blend of experience working with young kids, teens, and couples of all ages, addressing family issues at every level. My practice currently focuses on individuals and couples, including teens. As a young man, I finally encountered a therapist who helped me see things as they really were. That transformative relationship still inspires me. I know what it's like to sit in your seat. I don't think you need therapy forever. I am here to serve your needs and be a voice of discernment in times of confusion and uncertainty. Specialties: I specialize in family backgrounds dealing with personality disorders, but especially Cluster B types such as Narcissism and Borderline. I use an intentional blend of IFS, EFT, and attachment theory to dispel inner conflict within yourself. Alongside the inner work, we collaborate on healthier boundaries and objective interpersonal awareness.
"I primarily use EFT and attachment theory, integrated with IFS principles. With teens, this is done in a warm, indirect and relationship-building way, helping them find their voice. With adults and couples, this offers validation, clarity, and relief. My careful understanding of family psychology helps me discern healthier boundaries for everyone."
