Thank you for checking out my profile. I commend you on your decision to seek out a therapist. It is never an easy decision to explore ones own life at the deep capacity that therapy demands. It takes bravery, and a steadfastness to commit to this process. You should be proud of yourself to have chosen this path. There are multiple reasons people choose to come to therapy. If you are an individual who desires to understand your mental health better, regain emotional stability or improve interpersonal relationships. I can help you on this journey of self discovery. I look forward to talking with you.. I specialize in Mindfulness for depression, anxiety and addictions. Research has shown that Mindfulness Interventions breeds self sufficiency. I use Brain-spotting for individuals that have past traumas they wish to heal and to help them move forward in their lives. I use Bereavement therapy for a myriad of personal losses. I do couples therapy. I promote a relaxed state from the onset of the session. I create a safe environment for my clients to open up freely about what is deeply bothering them. My clients lead the session at a pace that is comfortable for them and I encourage them within this space. Specialties: I allow my clients to lead me where they need to go. The treatment plan always reflects the specific needs of my client. Everyone's treatment plan is unique. The benefits you will experience is you start to feel more yourself and you begin to live the life you are meant to live. Credentials & Experience: I have over twenty five years in the field of mental health.
"I do Brainspotting with clients who have the diagnosis of PTSD. It is a noninvasive intervention that rewires the brain to allow for gentle release from traumas. I teach Mindfulness techniques to my clients to assist them in self sufficiency long after the therapeutic relationship has ended. Bereavement therapy is an option to deal with losses and other interventions are used as needed."
