Licensed Clinical Social Worker
·LMSWAbout
I offer custom support for a myriad of issues with a special interest in women, LGBTQIA+, black sheep, middle children and the pitfalls & strengths of perfectionism. I firmly believe that you BELONG and it takes incredible strength to ask for help. Mental health challenges, trauma and life’s expected and unexpected transitions can cloud or alter our perceptions of ourselves as well as provide opportunity to find out who we want to be in the world. I am invested in you & can provide guidance and support as you find, change, accept and celebrate your true self. Together, we can find healthy ways to cope and integrate lived experience. I offer a connection to a plethora of mental health knowledge and resources as well as a soft place to land in trying times. I am honored to walk with you as you manage life's stressors and work to get to the root of deeper issues for substantive change. I am here for you. Specialties: I have tons of knowledge and experience that support my work in women's issues, life transitions, caretaking and postpartum care but no matter what you're facing, individualized treatment planning, with your goals in mind, will support you as we find the best ways to integrate and elevate your current experience. Credentials & Experience: As a Master's in Social Work Student I was focused on a clinical, therapeutic track. This means that I do therapy through the lens of Social Work Values with an understanding of how systems, inequality and prejudice can have profound effects on individuals and their family system
"Treatment is individualized to account for each person's unique perspective and most pressing challenges. My style and knowledge base are still growing but I tend toward holistic, humanistic, emotion focused and strengths-based work with research in mind. I have a feminist orientation with a general lens that questions the status quo. I believe the relationship is the most treasured element."
