About
I am currently accepting new clients for both in-person and telehealth therapy. My practice utilizes a person-centered and strength-based approach to understand and address each client's unique goals for therapy. I view the client as the expert on their own situation and value a collaborative approach to treatment that focuses on honoring the individual and their self-determination. I work effectively with individuals who have a history of complex trauma, dissociation, and attachment wounds. I specialize in working with clients with complex trauma/ and clients struggling with anxiety and depression. I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy that includes elements of CBT, IFS, and experiential therapy techniques. I am also certified in EMDR and regularly use this when appropriate. I offer therapy from a Christian perspective if requested. As your therapist I strive to be open, honest, and compassionate. I approach each client and their story with curiosity and respect. I look forward to hearing from you and being a part of your own healing journey. Specialties: I work with client's with a variety of issues and concerns including depression, anxiety, dissociation, and PTSD/trauma. During our initial sessions we will explore and clarify goals and develop a plan to achieve these goals in a way that you feel comfortable with. I see the client as the expert of their own life situation and value a collaborative therapeutic relationship. Credentials & Experience: I have over a decade of experience working with adults, teens, and children in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I am certified in EMDR, an evidence based treatment modality that has been shown to be effective with processing unresolved trauma.
