About

I work with children, adolescents, adults, and couples on a wide range of emotional and relationship challenges. My clients often come to therapy seeking understanding, clarity, and growth in areas such as communication, anxiety, depression, or family dynamics. I specialize in women's health, eating disorders, couples as well as grief and trauma (among other issues). I believe that therapy should feel supportive, collaborative, and focused on helping you build skills and process emotions that lead to lasting change and a more balanced, fulfilling life. I use evidence-based approaches to help clients gain insight and develop practical skills. As a Gottman (level 2) couples therapist, I help couples reconnect and resolve conflicts. Whether we are working on communication, managing stress, or improving relationships, I strive to meet you where you are and guide you toward meaningful, sustainable progress. Reaching out for help takes courage, and it is the first step toward feeling better. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you can be open, feel supported, and start moving forward. If you are ready to begin your journey toward greater confidence and well-being, please reach out to connect with me. Specialties: For families that might be struggling, I focus on building parenting skills and emotional regulation for kids. I also work with couples as well as maternal or perinatal mental health. Credentials & Experience: I am an active member of the American Counseling Association, the Illinois Counseling Association, and Illinois Mental Health Counselors Association. I am also a Level 2 trained Gottman Therapist for relationship counseling.

"I use different treatment modalities to meet each individual's needs. My therapy approaches are strongly rooted in ACT, CBT, DBT, Gottman Method, and ERP. Sometimes an eclectic (a mix of different types of therapy) stance will be integrated if that best serves you and the issues you are facing."
