About
I’m Katie, a Licensed Professional Counselor working with clients 20+ online and in person. I specialize in anxiety, depression, and trauma/grief, and my goal is to create a warm, compassionate space where you can be yourself without judgment. I know therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, so I tailor my approach to what fits you. Together, we’ll explore practical tools, coping strategies, and insights to help you navigate life’s ups and downs and feel more like yourself again. Outside of sessions, you’ll probably find me hiking local trails, curled up with a great book, or checking out fun events in the area. I love bringing a mix of warmth, humor, and curiosity into sessions—because healing doesn’t have to be all serious! Whether we meet online or in person, I’m here to support you in managing anxiety, depression, and trauma/grief in ways that feel real, practical, and uniquely yours. Let’s work together to take steps toward feeling better, one session at a time. Specialties: I work with clients who struggle with depression and anxiety that have been caused by life struggles. In our first session we will look at what may have caused these issues and how long they have been going on, then work together to make a treatment plan to address the cause and how to help you move forward. Credentials & Experience: I'm licensed in ID and WA and have experience helping with adults. During my career I have helped clients work on their issues and be able to graduate from counseling and move forward with their lives.
"I often use CBT in my sessions with clients. With CBT we will look at how thoughts/behaviors/actions are all connected and we will explore and understand how this shows in you together. This can be explored by processing your thoughts and how they connect to your feelings and ultimately your actions."
