About
Have you been struggling with OCD, intrusive thoughts, and anxiety that feel difficult to control? Many feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, compulsions, or avoidance, even when they logically know their fears don’t make sense. Some also carry past trauma that intensifies these patterns. I provide telehealth therapy to help clients break these cycles, reduce anxiety, and regain a sense of control through practical, lasting skills. As an ERP and trauma therapist, I specialize in treating OCD using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard, evidence-based approach for OCD. I offer teletherapy and integrate trauma-informed care when past experiences impact current symptoms. My work is active, structured, and focused on helping you disengage from intrusive thoughts. Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you’ve been stuck in these patterns for a long time. Teletherapy makes it easier to get started from wherever you are. You don’t have to figure it out alone—if you're ready for meaningful change, I’d be glad to support you. Specialties: I work with clients struggling with OCD, intrusive thoughts, and anxiety. Using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), we will gradually face fears, reduce compulsions, and change your relationship with anxious thoughts. Most clients begin to feel more confident managing symptoms as they build practical skills over time. Credentials & Experience: Kent is pursuing advanced doctoral training and is personally trained by Dr. Ashlenn Von Wiegand, a highly respected clinician, trainer, and supervisor in the OCD/ERP field, and provides structured, evidence-based care.
"I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), ACT, CBT, and trauma-focused approaches in my work. In our first sessions, we'll identify what's keeping you stuck and begin building a clear plan for change. With ERP, you'll start facing fears and reducing compulsions, while ACT helps you respond differently to intrusive thoughts and emotions so they have less control over your life."
