About
Do you continue to repeat the same toxic patterns in your relationships? Stress has a way of revealing unresolved issues that can lead to overwhelming emotions. You do not have to face it alone. As a trauma-informed counselor, I bring a compassionate, person-centered approach that creates a space where you feel heard and valued as you learn new skills and process emotions. Trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I help you build resilience, increase self-awareness, and develop meaningful coping strategies to deal with whatever life brings. My experience in the military has given me a deep appreciation and greater understanding of the complexities of life. I work with clients from diverse backgrounds and walks of life. I strive to ensure that all individuals feel safe and affirmed as we work collaboratively toward healing and wholeness. My specialties include anxiety, interracial relationships, trauma, military and veterans, parenting, self-esteem, identity development, and premarital counseling. Life is hard, and you don't have to walk it alone. Please reach out to see if I would be a good fit for your journey toward healing. I'd be honored to be a part of it. Specialties: With a trauma-informed lens, I provide individual counseling, anger management work, trauma processing, anxiety, premarital, and life coaching. My clients and I work collaboratively to develop realistic treatment goals that will empower them to take the steps toward healing and wholeness. Credentials & Experience: A recent graduate from Columbia International University, I earned my master's in counseling and will soon hold my LAPC. I hold valuable experience from my own time in the Army to help veterans and military families. I also hold a Life Coach Certification.
"During the course of treatment, I operate with a Rogerian lens and utilize various techniques to include parts work, CBT, and EMDR, to help clients develop coping skills and to challenge negative thought patterns that keep them stuck."
