About
Feeling stuck or struggling with a recent loss or transition? Life can feel overwhelming during times of significant change or uncertainty, but your “new normal” can also be an opportunity to “grow forward.” I provide a safe, compassionate space where you can process emotions, rediscover your strengths, and create a brave new path. I use a compassionate, client-centered approach grounded in empathy, grief-informed care, and strengths-based support. I'm passionate about working with individuals navigating grief and loss, end-of-life transitions, aging, life-stage shifts, relationship dynamics, and emotional overwhelm. Specialties: I work with clients who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, or trauma related to life transitions, relationships, or family. During our initial sessions, using CBT/DBT therapy, I provide a safe, compassionate space where you can process emotions, rediscover your strengths, and create a new path forward. You'll feel peace, gratitude, and improved control of your emotions. Credentials & Experience: I am currently an MSW student at National University; however, I have decades of life and career coaching experience and am a certified Doulagivers End-of-Life Care Specialist/Death Doula.
"I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better."
